Once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away – well, not really, in this galaxy (and on this planet) – I was asked by the super-talented, beat-making, vinyl collecting, DJ and music encyclopaedia Ray Juss to make him a 15 minute showcase of some beats that he wanted to use as a side B to a cassette he wanted to release (side A was going to be provided by the legend-in-the-making K-15). Anyway, for some reason or other, and because life can just be busy, it never made its way out to an actual release so I’ve decided to put it out as my first release on bandcamp. It’s a collection of beats (6 to be precise) I’ve made over time, sewn together with film samples, acapellas, interviews and other stuff.
